Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and handling general facility maintenance. The role also includes assisting with machine setup for production runs as needed.

Shifts Available

• Weekend Night - Friday-Sunday, 5pm – 5:30am

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, welding, and carpentry
• Assist with machine setups and prepare new equipment
• Collaborate with vendors for machine repairs
• Assist in equipment installation
• Document maintenance tasks and repairs through forms, records, and reports

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in plant maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• Hands-on mechanical skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Welding experience is a plus
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and production environments is preferred
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints is advantageous
• Proficiency with tools, materials, and computer programs

Physical Work Conditions

• Standing for up to 8-12 hours in a maintenance shop
• Work around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds

The compensation range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00 per hour. Final offers depend on experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range reflects current organizational and market conditions.
