Job summary

Just Born, Inc. in Bethlehem, PA is seeking experienced multi-craft Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, and Machinists for our Weekend Night Shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and automated production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Hours are 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Work 36 hours per week but paid as 40, with four days off each week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage FMCG a plus.
• Prior maintenance technician, industrial electrician, millwright or similar preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and operate PLC-controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support installation and repair.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Follow safety, GMP, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

We are seeking experienced multi-craft Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, and Machinists to join our Weekend Night Shift team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and automated production equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

How You’ll Impact Results:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including motors, motor controls, sensors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support equipment installation and repair.
• Perform equipment setups, changeovers, adjustments, and repairs to support production operations.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS.
• Follow all safety, food safety, GMP, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success :

• Education & Certification:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Experience:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required (food / beverage / FMCG manufacturing a plus)
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, Millwright, Fabricator, Machinist, Mechanic, or other technical roles are preferred.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with industrial equipment such as motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and automated production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, industrial electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis, identify underlying equipment issues, and implement effective corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to work independently and support production operations.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at varying heights.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and other manufacturing plant conditions.
• Manual dexterity and physical mobility to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment throughout the facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as needed.
