Qualifications

  • At least two years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • EPA or CFC certification.

We are actively seeking a Maintenance Technician for Veneto La Olas in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in maintaining the office and property, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
  2. Perform hands-on maintenance, including inspection, repair, and general upkeep of interior and exterior areas.
  3. Install and repair electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
  4. Conduct preventative maintenance and record findings in the maintenance log.
  5. Provide on-call emergency services as required.
  6. Assist in maintaining grounds, keeping them free of trash and debris.
  7. Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment such as water heaters and HVAC units.
  8. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
  9. Replace faulty electrical components and position sensing devices.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • EPA or CFC certification.
