Job summary

Northwood Ravin is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Varela Westshore apartment community in Tampa, FL. You will own repairs from diagnosis to resolution and keep systems running smoothly to support a well-maintained, reliable community.

In this role, you will manage service requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances, focusing on first-time resolution and resident satisfaction. You will perform preventative maintenance and help with apartment turns to ensure units are ready

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or related properties.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Complete service requests with first-time resolution in mind.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce failures and extend asset life.
• Support apartment turns to ensure units are move-in ready.

The Opportunity

In this position, you will manage service requests and maintenance operations across multiple systems, with a focus on efficient troubleshooting, quality repairs, and minimizing repeat issues.

Key areas of focus include:

• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues


• Completing service requests with a focus on first-time resolution and resident satisfaction


• Performing preventative maintenance to reduce system failures and extend asset life


• Supporting apartment turns to ensure units are fully prepared and move-in ready


• Identifying issues early through inspections and proactive maintenance, while suggesting long term solutions.

This is a role for someone who is technically strong, works independently, and takes accountability for delivering repairs that are done right the first time.

What You Bring to the Team

You have a solid foundation multifamily maintenance or a related trade, with hands‑on experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.

More importantly, you bring a thoughtful, detail‑oriented approach, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work. You’re dependable, collaborative, and take pride in delivering high‑quality results and representing the Northwood Ravin brand with pride.
