This role is based in Norfolk, Virginia, and involves travel to Naval deployments in the US and internationally.

Maintenance Technician, V-22 - On-Site Quick Response Team:

Join our On-Site Quick Response Team (OSQRT) as a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at Naval Air Station Norfolk, Virginia. You will troubleshoot and maintain the CMV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, diagnose avionics issues, install components, inspect damage, manage logistics, and perform repairs and testing. The position is on-site in Norfolk, with support for deployments abroad.

Applicants will undergo security screening and must meet eligibility for access to classified information. The role requires travel to other sites and deployment support for the US Navy Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) mission, afloat and ashore.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze tasks, determine logistics needs, and schedule repairs.
  • Ensure safety standards and proper PPE use.
  • Perform maintenance supporting organizational and intermediate levels, focusing on CMV deployments.
  • Support maintenance at customer locations and conduct heavy maintenance on aircraft structures, systems, and sub-systems.
  • Evaluate damage and perform electrical, mechanical, structural, and composite repairs.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards per technical publications.
  • Collaborate with military personnel and maintain positive customer rapport.
  • Provide weekly status reports.
  • Follow instructions from team leads and officers.
Qualifications:
  • Rotary Wing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with US Marine Corps MOS 6326 or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency with technical manuals and damage evaluation tools.
  • Fault isolation in avionics systems preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Experience with naval maintenance policies is a plus.
  • Teamwork, communication, and IT skills essential.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally.
  • FAA A&P certification or QA experience preferred.
  • Active or ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
