Job summary

Leggett Dynamics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its automotive-focused manufacturing engineering team in Wisconsin. The role emphasizes equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across production and facility systems.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, strong preventive maintenance knowledge, LEAN experience, and fluency in Dutch and French. Training includes day shifts with a transition to night shifts as operations scale.

Qualifications

• Technical training as Electrician, Mechanical Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with LEAN methodologies (TPM/SMED) and continuous improvement.
• Safety- and quality-focused mindset; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment uptime through troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility systems.
• Deliver preventive maintenance programs and continuously improve maintenance plans.
• Identify and implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime and increase performance.
• Support deployment of new manufacturing equipment from development through commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and EHS requirements for equipment and modifications.
• Provide cross-functional backup support and deputy coverage when required.
