Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Tyler, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and complete minor fabrication work at our Tyler plant.

You will perform preventative maintenance on ready mix plants across East Texas, rebuild parts of stationary equipment, and weld/repair fabrications as needed. Strong math, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1–year of experience maintaining equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a medical card.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on ready mix plants throughout East Texas.
• Rebuilding parts of the stationary equipment in ready mix plants.
• Welding, repair, and fabrication on equipment.
