Job summary

The Stellar Family of Companies is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry tasks, keeping apartment homes and common areas in top condition to deliver an exceptional resident experience.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on, safety-minded, and able to work independently or with a team. A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Proficient in general maintenance and carpentry tasks.
• Familiar with preventative maintenance programs and grounds upkeep.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain apartment homes and prepare vacants for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues; perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Keep common areas clean and maintained; assist with hvac, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work.
• Monitor inventory and keep tools and supplies organized.
• Collaborate with property management and onsite teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our community operating at its best and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding promptly and professionally to resident service requests
• Maintaining apartment homes and preparing vacant units for new residents
• Troubleshooting and repairing maintenance issuesPerforming preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Maintaining common areas and grounds appearance
• Assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general repairs
• Monitoring inventory and maintaining tools and supplies
• Working closely with property management and onsite teams
