Overall Position Objectives:

We are seeking a team-oriented Maintenance Technician for our Chestnut Hill location. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators, problem solvers, and proactive professionals committed to elevating our property standards.

Key Position Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various equipment to perform minor repairs and ensure cleanliness of the property’s interior and exterior.
• Work weekends and/or evenings as required by management and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs such as painting, drywall, tile work, light bulb replacement, plumbing, door repairs, and parking lot and sidewalk repairs.
• Read blueprints of buildings and underground utilities.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
• Operate lift equipment and ladders for maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect and maintain interior and exterior areas, addressing cleanliness and risk management issues, and report priority repairs to management.
• Maintain roof drains and inspect catch basins monthly; perform emergency roof patching if necessary.
• Ensure service courts are clean and safe for tenants.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in all common, sprinkler, and electrical rooms.
• Purchase and retrieve supplies and materials as needed.
• Possess basic knowledge of plumbing, drain systems, electrical, HVAC, and other utilities to assist in maintenance tasks.
• Create and follow checklists for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks based on property needs.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain grounds to high standards and follow up on projects.
• Assist customers by answering questions to provide excellent service and foster goodwill.
• Maintain professional relationships with management, co-workers, and tenants.
