Maintenance Technician Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

1. Complete work and repair orders in a timely manner.
2. Estimate time and extent of repairs.
3. Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
4. Perform routine preventive maintenance.
5. Maintain material and supply inventory.
6. Identify and report any hazardous conditions, maintenance needs, or safety-related issues.
7. Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary.
8. Ensure the upkeep of community appearance.
9. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
10. Accurately complete records in Onesite regarding service requests and make-ready vacant apartments.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
2. High School diploma; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
3. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
4. Ability to handle physical workload.
5. Deadline and detail-oriented.
6. EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal certification strongly preferred.
7. Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
