Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs or more).
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
  • Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
  • Use procedures to solve straightforward problems; communicate clearly.
  • Deliver output following procedures under supervision.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of fire life safety building systems across a diverse portfolio of healthcare facilities in Temple, Tx.

This client-facing position requires a proactive and skilled individual to oversee the upkeep and repairs of critical life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers. As well as other essential infrastructure, contributing to a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for patients and staff. This position will be working on the 1st shift 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee the upkeep and repairs of critical life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair security and door systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Perform low-voltage electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Execute maintenance and repairs to mechanical, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
