Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hagerstown, MD seeks a Warehouse Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, and plant utilities to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role supports a three-shift schedule (Third Shift: Sunday–Tuesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am, every other Wednesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am) with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Training is provided and career growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience including electrical and mechanical repair.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder.
• Good organization, communication, and planning skills.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment required.
• Equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment.
• Maintains plant utility systems (electrical, water, fire protection, etc.).
• Manages shop maintenance, parts inventory, and reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs.
• Maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Conducts routine preventive maintenance and keeps repair records.
• Provides training on safety and equipment as needed.
• Overtime may be required.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule: Third Shift (C) Sunday-Tuesday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, every other Wednesday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organization, communication, and planning skills

• Equipment certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
