AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for SW Apartments in Las Vegas, NV to deliver quality maintenance and exceptional resident service. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general issues while completing apartment turns for a superior move-in experience.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance, hands-on trade skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, or related environment.
• Hands-on experience in at least two skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with safety focus.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, on-call shifts, and seasonal demand.

Responsibilities

• Expected pay rate of $22 per hour + 15% target bonus opportunity. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Will Do

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and team members
• Complete apartment turns to create an exceptional move-in experience for new residents
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues using strong troubleshooting skills and sound judgment.
• Respond to and complete service requests efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support community upkeep
• Assist with move-in and move-out inspections
• Support vendors and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Participate in a shared rotating on-call schedule to address emergency maintenance needs.

What You Have

• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, commercial properties, hospitality, or a related environment.
• Hands-on experience in at least two skilled trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, or general building maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities, with a commitment to quality and safety
• Flexibility to support community needs, including evenings, weekends, rotating on-call responsibilities, and seasonal business demands
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergency service requests during on-call shifts
• The ability to safely perform physical work, including moving equipment, tools, and materials as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

What You Need To Know
