Job summary

Freedom Pointe at the Villages is seeking a Maintenance Technician Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations for a senior living community in The Villages, FL. The role focuses on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems, with emphasis on supervising staff and coordinating safety drills.

Ideal candidates have maintenance supervision experience, are comfortable handling onboarding, and participate in fire and safety drills.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or building operations.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire/life-safety systems.
• Ability to supervise maintenance staff and coordinate on-call activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain emergency power and fire safety equipment, and reports.
• Maintain parts inventory for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, refrigeration and related systems.
• Maintain and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as needed.
• Preferably have maintenance supervisor experience.
• Participate in onboarding and conduct drills (fire, safety).

Freedom Pointe at the Villages is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician Supervisor.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Supervisor

• Maintain the emergency power generating equipment along with all fire and life safety equipment and fire drill and safety inspection reports.
• Maintain proper level of service repair parts for electrical, plumbing, laundry, lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, hardware, locks, batteries, tools, expendable supplies, Maintain and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain proper level of service repair parts for electrical, plumbing, laundry, lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, hardware, locks, batteries, tools, expendable supplies, emergency telephone and security equipment based on past and expected usage. Maintain and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as necessary
• Maintenance supervisor experience (preferred)
• Participate and conduct on-boarding., Fire drills and elopement drills.
