Job summary

Stevenson Oaks, part of Methodist-Retirement-Communities in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help create a safe, well-maintained environment for residents. The role covers routine maintenance, repairs and Make Ready tasks for new move-ins, with a focus on quality standards and teamwork.

You will work on plumbing, electrical systems and appliance repairs, while supporting ground maintenance and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade certifications are a plus.
• Experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Make Ready duties: prepare apartments for new move-ins, including painting, light carpentry, cleaning and repairs.
• Assist in maintaining community grounds and common areas.
• Support compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
