Trinity Products in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. You will perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep machinery running smoothly to support production targets.

The role requires basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge with at least 1 year of maintenance experience and a high school diploma; a technical certification is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with shift hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines.
• Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery to minimize downtime.
• Locates problems by observing equipment and using precision instruments.
• Maintains inventory by tracking parts and placing orders as needed.
• Documents actions and communicates issues to teams for continuity.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment following protocols.

Maintenance Technician (St. Charles, 1st Shift)

Salary Range: $28.00 To $35.00 Hourly

In this Maintenance Technician role, you will work1st Shifthours (Monday - Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm). Your main focus is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Steel Mill through routine maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of industrial machinery.

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in industrial equipment.
• 1 year of Electrical 24vdc to 480vac experience preferred.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
