Maintenance Technician - Springfield Remanufacturing Corp. (SRC)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Follow safety procedures, JSA's, and work instructions, including OSHA standards such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space Entry, Arc-Flash, and Electrical safety.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts unsafe for operation, and document work performed.
• Read and interpret machinery manuals and maintenance requests to perform repairs or service.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair machinery efficiently.
• Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Perform regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and production teams regarding new products and modifications.
• Implement modifications and conduct test runs.

Key Qualifications

• Knowledge of troubleshooting 3-phase electrical and mechanical systems; hydraulics, PLC, and welding are a plus.
• 3 years of multi-craft experience in an industrial environment.
• Vocational or Associate's degree in Industrial Controls and Automation Technology or related field preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting and programming preferred; training available.
• Proficiency with MS Office products preferred.
