Roers Companies is seeking an energetic, dedicated professional to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT as a Maintenance Technician at Solis at Jackson Station.

We are offering a one-time sign-on bonus of $1,000 payable after 90 days of continuous employment. If you voluntarily resign or are terminated for cause within 12 months, you agree to repay the full bonus within 30 days of your last day. The bonus is taxable, and applicable taxes will be deducted.

Solis at Jackson Station is a 363-unit affordable housing community in Salt Lake City, representing Roers Cos.’ first project in Utah, developed at a cost of over $105 million.

About You

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of multifamily buildings, including occupied units.
• Handle electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
• Assist with cleaning and painting during unit turnovers.
• Participate in snow removal.
• Communicate professionally with Property and Maintenance Managers.
• Respond to emergency calls during on-call rotations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of property maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Local market familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb stairs, and work on ladders.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

$28.84 - $31.25/hr plus potential monthly renewal commissions.
