Maintenance Technician - Skye at Arbor Lakes

Overview

Skye at Arbor Lakes apartments in Maple Grove, MN has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician! (www.liveatskyearborlakes.com)

Responsibilities
  • Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Communicate with residents regarding pending items or service request statuses.
  • Maintain community safety and cleanliness, including groundskeeping and repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures.
  • Complete make-ready repairs on schedule.
  • Perform grounds maintenance such as raking, sweeping, shoveling, and salting.
  • Change locks and keys as needed.
  • Accept deliveries and assist with furniture/appliance moving.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in property maintenance or related field.
  • Proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems, landscaping, and cleaning.
  • Own tools and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
  • Must have CFC/EPA certification or be willing to obtain within 45 days.
  • CAMT certification preferred; willingness to obtain if requested.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, walk on roofs, and perform manual tasks.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fair Housing certification prior to resident interaction.
  • Willingness to undergo drug and background screening.
Work Hours

40+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as needed.
