Job summary

Bader is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Lux, Granite Ridge & Granite Peaks in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis–Saint Paul). This full-time role offers 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

hours, no on-call after hours, and a benefits package including 401(k) with matching, health and vision insurance, paid time off, and more. You will perform skilled building maintenance, install and repair plumbing, heating and cooling fixtures, handle appliances, prepare vacant units, and provide courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Boilers license/certification required for the property worked at.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required.
• EPA - Universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts and passage locks.
• Demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service at all times.

Compensation:

• $29-31 per hour

Licenses/Certifications Required:

This level of technician is required to have the licenses and certifications necessary for the property(s) worked at.
