Job summary

Bader in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will perform repairs across sinks, windows, floors, plumbing and HVAC, while preparing vacant units for occupancy and maintaining common areas.

This on-site role requires five years of maintenance experience, and possession of a CPO license and EPA Universal certification. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, with benefits including health, vision, life and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of building maintenance experience.
• High-rise/multi-family experience preferred.
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical and minor appliance work.
• Must hold CPO and EPA Universal licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintain grounds as assigned including trash pickup and landscaping.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy including cleaning.
• Install and repair plumbing, heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Install and repair major and minor appliances.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, replace parts, test and adjust to resolve problems.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders and ensure courteous and efficient customer service.

NO ON-CALL / AFTER-HOURS RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule: Monday - Friday

• 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $30-33 per hour

Licenses/Certifications Required:

This level of technician is required to have the licenses and certifications necessary for the property(s) worked at.

• CPO

Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts and passage locks.
• Demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service at all times.
