Job summary

Peak Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Harbor Pointe, Milwaukee, WI, a 550+ unit community. You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and handle apartment-turn tasks while troubleshooting building systems and ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role includes on-call responsibilities, groundskeeping, seasonal duties, and the potential for a sign-on bonus. HVAC experience is beneficial, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance technician experience in an apartment community or a similar setting.
• Practical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with building systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize work and contribute as part of a team.
• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment-turn tasks.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and light painting or drywall.
• Maintain property-owned equipment and inventory; order supplies as needed.
• Help care for the grounds and handle seasonal work such as landscaping and snow removal. Pool maintenance may apply at the community.
• Respond to after-hours service requests as part of the on-call rotation.
• Provide residents with professional, friendly service.
