Job summary

Maker's Pride is hiring a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery used in production and packaging. You will regularly inspect equipment, respond to maintenance requests, and follow all health and safety procedures essential to daily operations.

The role requires a 2-year trades degree or equivalent plant maintenance experience, English proficiency, and strong communication with shift leads and management. This on-site position offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age.
Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

Operate maintenance tools and power tools safely.
Perform preventative maintenance from daily up to Semi-Annual.
Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
Complete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues without direct supervision.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
