Position Overview

Serrano Apts and Stevenson Manor is an affordable housing community comprising 103 units in Los Angeles, CA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all related day-to-day operations.

Who We Are

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management company with communities throughout California, specializing in multifamily affordable housing since 1993.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Paint
2. Clean carpets, windows, appliances
3. Service appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures
4. Repair or replace faulty parts
5. Check locks
6. Replace burned-out light bulbs
7. Conduct regular inspections of grounds, building, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment
8. Familiarize with power, water, and gas turnoffs; clean traps; maintain fire extinguishers and hydrants; post maps
9. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
10. Perform janitorial duties
11. Report repairs to the site manager
12. Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
13. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Experience in electrical, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, painting
• Valid California driver's license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Customer service skills
• Computer skills for work order management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialized certifications such as HVAC are desirable
