Job summary

National Church Residences is hiring Maintenance Technicians for Wright Place, a 92-unit senior community in Xenia, OH. This full-time role supports building maintenance with a 30-hour week and a Monday–Friday schedule, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems; handle painting, drywall, and minor repairs; and assist with inventory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 1-2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required.
• Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (HVAC, OSHA, etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Must have painting/drywall ability.
• Some janitorial duties expected.
• In house trash pick-up 3 days per week.
• Computer/iPad skills a must.
• On-call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
• Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
• Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
