Job summary

Havenwood of Minnetonka is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep residential apartments and public areas in top condition. You will perform routine and emergency repairs, use basic trade skills, and support the maintenance team on campus.

This part‑time role offers 20 hours per week with weekend flexibility and a benefits package including health, dental, and retirement options. The ideal candidate communicates well with residents and staff and works under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Prefer knowledge of residential building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Able to work under general supervision.
• Willing to assist other maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and common areas.
• Assist HVAC by performing resets and simple repairs.
• Respond to emergency calls for system failures.
• Complete work orders with detailed task and equipment notes.
• Assist in campus snow removal and maintaining supplies.
