Job summary

The Cypress Club of Hilton Head is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep residential apartments and public areas well maintained and safe. You’ll handle routine and emergency repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, and painting.

Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential, with potential on-call overtime. Hourly rate is $21.00–$23.00 based on experience; hours are 11 AM–7 PM, with days Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

Has working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
HVAC knowledge is preferred.
Must be 18+ years old and able to read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas.
Repairs electrical malfunctions and plumbing fixtures; maintains doors, locks and lighting.
Provides initial response for HVAC issues and completes work orders with details of tasks performed.
Responds to facility emergencies and supports other maintenance staff as needed.
Maintains materials and supplies and may work overtime or on-call as required.
