Landmark Amarillo is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents. You will perform routine tasks, assist with repairs, and support daily operations under the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems, washers/dryers, and emergency generators, plus a solid understanding of preventive maintenance. Strong communication and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers/dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and safety best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
