• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and report to the Administrator as needed.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair facility/resident property and coordinate with outside vendors when repair is not possible.
• Identify and classify routine maintenance tasks, including those with exposure to infectious materials.
• Inspect storage and work areas for upkeep and supply control.
• Participate in facility surveys and develop corrective plans for deficiencies.
• Monitor maintenance to ensure safe, clean, and comfortable environment; adjust services as needed.
• Ensure proper PPE use and disposal of infectious wastes.
• Handle emergencies and reschedule maintenance as required.
