Maintenance Technician (RT) - Greenville, SC

The Maintenance Technician (RT) is a technical wage position responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and performing electronic/electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximize production while ensuring product quality standards are met at the assigned facility. This role requires working rotating shifts in a 24-hour manufacturing operation.

Qualifications:

Must have Associate's Degree in EET, MET, Mechatronics, or a similar curriculum OR 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance OR Military Experience in a maintenance discipline.

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  2. Coordinate and participate in preventive maintenance (PMs).
  3. Establish machine repair priorities.
  4. Input and manage data in the maintenance management database.
  5. Understand and troubleshoot machinery in assigned areas of the manufacturing process.
  6. Interface with related functions such as Production, Quality, Engineering, and Support.
  7. Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures when working on equipment.
  8. Achieve timely technical progression to meet job level expectations.
  9. Recognize the impact of maintenance repairs on quality, uniformity, and productivity.
  10. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance with consideration of their effect on tire uniformity and quality.
  11. Complete duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Starting salary: $33.61/hr with a shift premium of $2.00/hr when assigned to a rotating crew.
