Property Solutions & Services, Inc is an equal opportunity employer that has been providing property management services for affordable housing developments within the Twin Cities for the past 30 years, and we are currently seeking a responsible, dedicated, and organized Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The desired candidate will be an individual who takes pride in his/her work and enjoys completing maintenance and/or small construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the physical condition and appearance of multiple residential property sites.
• Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts and reassembling equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.

The successful candidate will have:

• A dependable work history.
• A great work ethic.
• A minimum of one year of maintenance and/or construction experience.
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and drywall skills.
• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• The ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Yardi software.
• Own basic tools.
• A cell phone.
• A driver’s license.
• A reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
• The ability to pass a criminal background check.

Position Details:

• This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with optional overtime.
• Working hours typically start at 8:00 am and end at 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Starting salary is $26/hour, depending on experience.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
• Reimbursements are provided for cell phone, mileage, and tools (via a tool allowance).
• Technicians do not live on-site or work on call.
