Job summary
Avancez Assembly in Lansing, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment with preventive and predictive maintenance.
The role requires troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement. 2+ years in a production setting and technical certifications are preferred, with forklift/manlift certification valuable.
Qualifications
- Must have 2+ years working in a production environment.
- Technical certification in electrical, robotic, mechanical, or fabrication preferred.
- Highschool diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities
- Launch activity
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics
- Controls
- Preventative maintenance
- Shift start up
- EOSR/Communication
- Work with minimal supervision
- OE – Daily Report – Downtime report
- Ensure all machinery is functional for production
- Analyze and measure machinery performance
- CI’s
- LPA’s
- Respond to maintenance calls to the line
- Troubleshoot equipment problems/issues
- Analyze machine performance and recommend improvements
- Lockout/Tagout procedures followed
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Parts inventory
- Document process improvements
- Track production downtime
- OT as required
- All other duties as assigned
