Job summary
Divert Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain our Integrated Food Processing and Renewable Natural Gas facilities. You will ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently, perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems, and coordinate with site leadership and contractors.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and English communication are essential. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6 am start, with occasional weekend coverage.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent; education/experience as listed in the role.
- 2–3 years minimum Industrial Maintenance or related experience.
- 2-year technical degree or military background is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety Compliance with PPE, gas monitoring, LOTO, Fall Prevention and related policies.
- Conduct daily plant walkthroughs for safety and equipment inspections.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, filters and vessels.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, electrical and control systems; use diagnostic tools.
- Coordinate downtime planning with Site leadership; supervise 3rd party contractors as needed.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and work with engineers and production teams.
