Job summary

Divert is a circular economy company focused on preventing food waste through data-driven solutions and RNG processing. We seek a Maintenance Technician to keep front-end and back-end processes running, contributing to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement at our utility-scale plant.

Under the Maintenance Manager, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years minimum Industrial Maintenance, fabrication, RNG, or compressor experience.
• 2-year technical degree or military background is a plus.
• 1-3 years in a leadership role is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety Compliance with PPE, monitoring devices, LOTO, and related policies.
• Perform daily plant walkthroughs for safety and equipment inspections.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, and valves.
• Diagnose faults in machinery and control systems; use diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate downtime with Site leadership for planned maintenance.
• Document activities in the CMMS and assist with spare parts inventory.
