Job summary

The United Group of Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Sovana at Stuart, a managed active adult community in Stuart, FL. The role involves hands-on maintenance of both exteriors and interiors, with a strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Expect 40-hour workweeks, Monday–Friday, with on-call as needed. Requires 2+ years of residential property maintenance, high school diploma, and HVAC/EPA 608 certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and applicable work history.
• EPA 608 and/or CPO certification preferred; HVAC certification a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in residential property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders as assigned.
• Maintain exterior and interior of buildings on the property.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials.
• Follow safety and health programs; participate in safety trainings.
• Handle emergency maintenance issues and notify supervisor as needed.
