Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our busy fulfillment center in Northlake, IL. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager and help keep production running by reducing downtime through proactive repairs and preventive maintenance of conveyors, HVAC, refrigeration, and other equipment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, coordinate with external contractors, and lead sanitation and safety practices while following regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience.
• Must not have an aversion to heights.
• Required to lift and carry equipment up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Regularly cleans, inspects, and lubricates equipment.
• Replaces or repairs defective parts on conveyors, tape machines, stock carts, etc.
• Completes general plumbing, electrical, and painting as needed.
• Operate electrical equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
• Conducts maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on all equipment within the facility including production vehicles.
• Complete facility inspections and reports as required.
