Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances, troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security systems, HVAC, painting, and cleaning. All duties must be performed in accordance with company policies and safety protocols to meet client expectations based on the operating budget and management agreement.

Reliable transportation is required for job duties, including possible off-site training.

Pay: $22 - $24 / Hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client Relations
• Implement owner philosophies and fulfill client expectations
• Maintain property in proper and safe condition following maintenance programs
• Perform inspections and repairs on vacant units for turnover
• Coordinate painting and appliance installation/removal during turnovers
• Maintain equipment and supplies, ensure safety and orderliness
• Respond to emergency on-call situations as scheduled
• Enforce community rules and regulations fairly
• Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and dress code policies
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, vendors, and guests

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably residential property management or related fields
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License, good driving record, insurance, and own vehicle
• Ability to wear a respirator and meet medical requirements
• Proficiency in English; basic computer skills
• May need to provide personal tools
