Job summary

Rolling Meadows of Strum is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Technician to support daily upkeep of the community. You will perform painting, drywall, fixture repair, plumbing, electrical tasks, and general handyperson duties as needed.

You must manage maintenance requests, schedule checks on HVAC and safety systems, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Flexible hours and a collaborative, resident-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting, drywall, flooring, fixture repair, and general maintenance.
• Ability to respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards/regulations.
• Respond to maintenance requests including drywall/painting, plumbing, electrical, heating, fixture repair, moving furniture, masonry.
• Schedule and document maintenance checks on HVAC, fire alarms, generators, appliances.
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
• Related experience in facilities position preferred.

Are you a Handyman? Do you have experience in painting, drywall, floor extracting, fixture repair, moving furniture, grouting, toilet repairs, lawn care ...etc.?

Rolling Meadows is looking for a Part-time (PT) Maintenance Technician to assist in performing maintenance and repairs. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and performing maintenance within the community.

• Ensure communities repairs are maintained in a timely manner
• Ensure the community is in compliant with current federal, state and local standards/regulations
• Responds to maintenance request by community members which includes, drywall/painting, plumbing issues, electrical, heating, fixture repair, moving furniture and masonry, etc.
• Schedule/maintain/document maintenance checkups on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, fire alarms, generators, washer and dryer, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment
• Exhibits good time management and organizational skills
• Possess the ability to handle complex issues
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
• Additional duties as assigned
• Related experience within a facilities position in a senior living or healthcare environment preferred
• Able to be flexible and according to the schedule to meet job requirements
