Maintenance Technician - Prose Park View

Job Overview

Greystar, a leading global real estate company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Prose Park View property. This role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and making repairs according to safety standards and codes.
  2. Prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work.
  3. Manage materials and supplies, tracking inventory and notifying supervisors for reordering.
  4. Document work and service requests accurately and promptly.
  5. Maintain grounds and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and debris removal.
  6. Support cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and practicing efficient use of resources.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in safety meetings and training, report incidents promptly.
  • Inspect contractor work to ensure quality standards are met.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required for property support and training.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
  • State and local certifications as required.
  • Valid driver’s license for operating golf carts on property.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly range: $18.00 - $19.00, with potential bonuses based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, onsite housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k) matching, parental leave, and more.
