Job summary

Bocar US is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair production machinery in a manufacturing setting in the United States. The role requires initiative, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, reading diagrams and manuals, and operating a range of tools and instruments.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in reading and writing English and basic math.
• Minimum three years of relevant maintenance technician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and mechanical systems on production machinery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with StrikoWestofen, Buhler, ABB, Grob, or Siemens PLC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with plant policies.
• Repair and maintain motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, conveyors, and production line equipment.
• Read diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications for installations and repairs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and testing instruments.
• Willingness to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines.
