Bocar US is seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, can read schematics, and is able to work 3rd shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment independently.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and work orders.

Position Summary

The 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in die-casting, machining, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Technical certifications, trade school education, or related maintenance training.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands.
