Responsibilities

The Maintenance Tech. I is responsible for operating department equipment and general maintenance of the facility and equipment. Duties are performed in accordance with all standards to ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages. Additional responsibilities include providing security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Electrical maintenance license is preferred but not required (training available).
• One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. General maintenance background is required; hospital maintenance experience is a plus but not mandatory.
