Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for our scattered-site portfolio in Columbus, including work at Peak Property Group. The role entails daily upkeep, inspections, and preparing vacant units for new residents across 100+ properties and 700+ units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property maintenance, handyman services, HVAC/appliance repairs preferred.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair skills, including the use of hand tools and other necessary equipment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy. A company vehicle is provided.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outside for long periods of time. Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50 lbs as well as use a ladder.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Ability to speak elementary English required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of our properties, including general maintenance, HVAC, appliance repair, light electrical and plumbing, painting, finish work, and grounds.
• Inspect properties to ensure free of trash and litter, clean, safe, and presentable.
• Inspect and prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Complete repairs in a timely, accurate, and respectful manner.
• Work effectively alongside other maintenance technicians, contractors, sub-contractors, and other team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as directed and assigned.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll serve our residents by ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the property. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance the value of our multi-site investment portfolio and maximize the living experience for our residents. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Property Manager.

Where You’ll Work:

You'll work at Coastal Ridge Real Estate's scattered site investment portfolio, Peak Property Group. Our Columbus portfolio, consisting of over 100 residential properties in the Short North, Downtown, German/Merion Village, and OSU Campus neighborhoods, totaling over 700 units and growing!
