Job summary

Morningside House of Satyr Hill in Parkville, MD, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Porter (Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem/PRN). The role covers maintenance of the building and grounds, handling resident work orders, and supporting move-in readiness, within a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Experience or training in maintenance is a plus
• Knowledge of safety procedures and basic repair work preferred

Responsibilities

• Responds to and completes resident work orders, ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction
• Performs work to ready apartments for move-in, as assigned
• Performs general maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, equipment repair
• Supports emergency, safety plans and procedures; responds promptly to emergencies
• Maintains clean and organized work areas and follows company standards
• May provide resident transportation and fosters a safe working environment
