Job summary

Multimatic in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform PM checks, diagnostics, and repairs on manufacturing equipment. You will assist with welding, fabrication, and installation, while maintaining documentation for TPMs and downtime logs.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus 1–3 years in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and welding and strong troubleshooting skills. Some shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices, policies and procedures.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
• Installations and setup procedures for equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Execute preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Complete maintenance documentation including TPM logs and downtime records.
• Coordinate time, materials and equipment with supervisors/managers.
• Operate with minimal supervision and own tools.
