Job summary

Moonlight Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Reedley, California. Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Conduct plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• Provide emergency repairs during production operations.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor on compliance projects.
• Detect faulty operations and report unusual situations.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance related projects are in compliance with all employee safety, food safety and regulatory standards
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use and knowledge of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedure

Pay Range

$16.90 min - $20.00 max/hour

This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above. If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
