Job summary

Laskoproducts is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Night Shift, 10:48pm to 7:18am, Monday to Friday. This role requires performing various maintenance duties to ensure the reliability of production and facility equipment.

The ideal candidate will have ideally 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, the ability to lift 100 pounds, and proficiency in mechanical and electrical skills.

Strong team player qualities and adherence to safety regulations are essential.

Job Summary

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This position is for Night Shift 10:48pm to 7:18am, Monday to Friday.

Essential Functions
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. 1

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Certifications and Special Requirements
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to understand and apply basic directions with regard to safety procedures, quality standards, production goals, and company rules, regulations and processes
  • Proficiency in operating machinery in routine and non-routine, and complex and non-complex environments
  • Operate within SOP’s and maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Ability to perform to schedule in flexible, dynamic work environment with minimal supervision
  • Ensuring basic quality standards are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Physical Demands

Ability to frequently lift objects that are 100 pounds or more.

Capable of using hand tools and have ability to operate machines when needed.
