Job summary

The Amberleigh, a Sonida Senior Living community in Williamsville, NY, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform daily upkeep and respond to resident requests involving plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs within independent living and memory care settings.

You will inspect lighting, organize storage areas, and handle painting tasks in common and office spaces while upholding safety standards. Pay ranges from $22–$24 per hour with eligibility for benefits based on location.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident request through the established work order program repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring that all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
• Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office area
