Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge for our Rochester, NY operations. This on-site, permanent role focuses on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems, with hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in manufacturing maintenance, reads schematics, and works well in a team while following strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
  • Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or related field is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Safety-focused approach to maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Techs to join our dynamic team . This role will provide essential maintenance support to our busy manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who can effectively troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and machinery. With a strong emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems, this role is perfect for a hands‑on technician who thrives in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. 1. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

  3. 3. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components, utilizing schematics and technical drawings.

Qualifications:
  1. 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  2. 2. Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
  3. 3. Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
  4. 4. Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  5. 5. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
  6. 6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  7. 7. Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  8. 8. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
  9. 10. Proficiency in using a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, for maintenance and repair tasks.
