Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Lenexa, KS to keep all production equipment and plant facilities in peak condition, while ensuring safety and GMP compliance. This role requires mechanical, electrical, and control systems expertise to maximize productivity.

The position offers a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with applicable shift differential. You will perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and train fellow technicians in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Welding experience required
• PLC knowledge essential
• Maintenance on Flexographic Printing presses and Bag/Pouch machines
• Electrical experience; AC/DC and high voltage equipment
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds occasionally and 25–50 pounds frequently

Responsibilities

• Communicates with production personnel and supervisors regarding problems with equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and electronic control circuits
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures
• Works with vendors on installation and coordinates efforts
• Performs preventative maintenance per schedule and specifications
• Inspects rooftop AC units and heating units
• Maintains maintenance records for equipment
• Keeps maintenance area clean per standards
• Identifies major components for inventory and orders parts
• Assists and trains other maintenance personnel as required
